Enravet Plus is used in the treatment of infections caused by gram-positive bacteria such as Clostridium perfringens, which causes necrotic entries and growth depression in poultry. It has a strong antibacterial effect under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.

Enravet Plus is not absorbed in the intestinal tract, which minimizes the concern about residues in human food from treated animals.

It improves feed efficiency, reduces wet dropping in poultry, increases feed digestibility, reduces diarrhea for pigs, and improves weight gain and feed conversion. It also helps in promoting growth of livestock and poultry.

Some advantages of Enravet Plus premixes are as follows:

• It is an excellent growth-promoter and improves feed efficiency even when supplemented in low levels;
• It has a strong antibacterial effect under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. It is effective primarily against gram-positive bacteria such as Clostridium perfringens, which causes necrotic enteritis and growth depression in poultry;
• There is no cross-resistance between Enravet Plus premix and other available antibiotics or antibacterial premixes;
• Resistance to Enramycin premix develops very slowly. Enramycin-resistant Clostridium perfringens has never been isolated;
• It is not absorbed from the intestinal tract, which minimizes concern about residues in human food from treated animals;
• It is stable in the pelleting process and in feeds. It reduces wet dropping in poultry;
• It depresses ammonia-producing organisms, thereby reducing ammonia levels in the intestinal contents and blood.
